Single exhaust looks very bizarre too, i considered asking BHCC about it, then I remembered I had to swap my car recently so cant afford to save this one.
Damn steering rack failure of my old fiesta  Angry

I do agree Chris P, price is a bit steep for what has been done to it
Nice looking car @ $36,500 though chassis not brilliant for that kind of money: https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1982...-12560.htm
Looks rather tatty underneath.....a agree about the price...too much!

I think this is indicative of where prices are going, and alongside it, chassis'.

IF it runs and everything else (bar those louvres) is okay, it's another £3k or so to get the chassis refurbished, and "many hours" to strip and refit. I expect that'll sell. Oddly given the spare wheel well looks like it's seen something rusty, I wonder if it's been up to the doors in water...
One I spotted today for $29,950 ok for light resto overall but the doors have me puzzled either they're twisted or need some adjusting.

interior looks to be mostly in one piece, only work is on the binnacle and dash... typical heat damage.
underside needs a bit of tlc as it looks rough.

dosen't look too bad....dificult to asses the chassis though.

Do seem to be sitting a bit odd.
Chris
I would be more concerned that they dont mention its "mechanically sound". Usually when thats not mentioned it means the engine is seized.

good point made, engine does look a little rough with bits of rust in various spots
Their term of mechanically sound means the engine turns and not nessassary that the car runs.
isn't that 40 years Dan?

I note that one was Turbo-charged...no wonder it has engine problems.....
Nice looking car at $44,500 (still needs carpets and seat) https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1982...-12685.htm
I agree, it looks nice and un-mucked about with.......but not sure about the price.

I think we are all going to have to get used to that.
A nice solid early car $46,500 (prices are getting really strong now Confused ) https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1981...-12761.htm
Looks a very genuine car.....not been mucked about with.........if you are ok with Black interior Auto's.
