  MANIFOLD GASKETS
Posted by: Tourettes Tony - 10 Jun 2007, 11:07 - Forum: 1 - Engine - Replies (2)

well i finally got around to removing my manifold, and after 4 hours and about 4 threats to sell the car, (again  ) i did discover that whoever done them before, had covered half the port up(#1) with the gasket, not good. so i need a part number, or the best place to get them.
I also got the whole unit off including the turbo and waste gate in one hit. thanks Tony TT

  Front Anti-roll bar bushing problem
Posted by: richard - 09 Jun 2007, 22:54 - Forum: 5 - Suspension / Steering - Replies (46)

Hi All,

Just fitted my anti-roll bar bushes and they fitted great when car was still, however after driving one of the bushes slid out of the bracket.

After looking it seems the new poly bushes don't have the small metal bumps to keep it in place as well as the end flanges. See attached photo:

Any body think of a solution?

The only one I can thing of is drilling through the bracket and screwing a screw half way through the poly bush.

Any ideas????

At 54 seconds you can see a black interior manual RHD. Surely this is pre Dusty, so any ideas on whose this car belonged/belongs too!

It looks like a Wooler-Hodec car with the front indicators and interior RHD conversion quality...

  WANTED: OEM plastic coolant tank
Posted by: Phil Peters - 08 Jun 2007, 15:51 - Forum: DeLorean Cars or Parts For Sale or Wanted - Replies (3)

If any of you hoarders have an original plastic coolant expansion tank tucked away in a cupboard or sitting up in the attic, then please drop me a line. I'm looking for one which is preferably unused but I will of course consider used examples with no cracking and minimal discoloration.

Cheers,

Phil Peters
