| Actually no, I don't think so. The auction got to just over £12k (below reserve) when it ended. I don't know first hand, but I've heard it's since been sold privately for £15.2k

£10k could get you a runner, whereas £15 should get you a pretty good car with only minor works required. This car recently went for £15,200 on eBay a week ago:
