Well, I actually live a few hundred yards away down the main road into worksop center (Newcastle Avenue).
The petrol station just seems like a good place to meet up without anybody going out of the way.

well we're pretty flexible on that, the last 2 yrs we've gone up the A38, crossed the M1 at
J28, then carried on as if you were heading into Mansfield.

I dont know the area that well, so I'll be guided by you and Rich

Our passes came in the post yesterday btw, so we'll be bringing Flopsy and Avi - although
we might be swapping cars next week, as I can only just get my bump behind the steering
wheel of the De now!

Well, the route i mentioned is a straight run, and dead simple to get to thoresby from here (only 5 - 10 minutes)
Jump on the M1 to J30 and follow the signs for worksop. When you get to the A57 roundabout, take your first exit
into the petrol station, and you can follow me from there.
Simples!

Consider that a plan then Paul, I'll ring/text you when we leave here, I guess it takes about
30 mins or so to get to you from ours?

just been checking the tickets, and we have to be there before 11.30am, so can I suggest
that Rich, you get to us for 9am, then we should be with Paul for 9.45 at the latest.

That sounds good to me.
I picked my D up from my mums in Sheffield today (as I have no where to park it at home in Worksop!), and tried to clean her, but the heavens opened up! pfff EVERY BLOODY TIME!
I should get a couple of hours in the morning to clean her if the weather is ok, other than that, she'll have to go as she is. Ungleeming and bits missing lol !

See you at the petrol station between 9:30 and 9:45 then.

Just checked weather, looks like rain is in for tonight, but then tomorrow will be dry in the East Midlands, with hopefully some sun in the afternoon.

Great show today, and fab to catch up with Birksie, Catherine and little Heidi, plus Rich Hanlon
and also Julian and Lisa. I'd like to say a special thanks to Catherine and Paul for their present
for our baby too, that was really nice of you

Weather was glorious all day, with only a bit of cloud late afternoon - I've actually got a bit
of sunburn!!

The De's (and Avi) got loads of attention as usual, and it looks like a few more people will be
joining the DOC-UK too

Yep, fantastic day out. I too have quite a sun tan. Didnt seem that bright really, but hey ho!
Nice to see you again Claire and Phil and also Rich Hanlon who ive not seen for quite a while.
It was cool to catch up and chill out for the day, although we were quite busy talking to the
public, as there was quite a crowd at times.
It's been real good getting back in to the DeLorean meets again.
