Cheers Neal, yes it fits in the garage and i can get the door open! I've been cleaning it in my spare time. The get-you-home spare well had surface corrosion, so i sanded it down and resprayed it. Looks good!
I bought the framed copy of the warranty card from Delorean museum. Car was originally owned by a casino.

It sounds like you have a different spare wheel then if it rusted, because its meant to be alloy.

Twas' not "rust", it was very light pitting surface corrosion. Its the genuine wheel. The luggage compartment was messy and the damp & dirt caused a light reaction to the passive surface of the wheel.
