it doesn't look too bad to me......unless there is / has been underbody damage that happened when the wings were bent.....that could add extra work and expense and cast a shadow over it.

Could be the idler bearings for the belts? Easy enough to check...they are very prone to failing.

Indeed Chris.....also been working on mine today.....exhaust manifold gaskets finally given up...so it sounds like tractor! It's booked to have new stainless systems fitted in one next couple of weeks...

Anyone who arrives in a DeLorean, including the passenger is entitled to free entry .to the museum and display...and even some free food! If you arrive in a modern car, and bring your club members...

it's a process of elimination with these tricky faults. You just have to be careful that you don't inatvertantly, introduce a second fault....then it get MUCH more difficult to sort out.

Sorry for the late reply, as Chris says..dirty connections are responsible for a lot of problems.. There is another RED plug, dangling around....somewhere under your red HT lead......find it and swap...

I used a place near Mansfield in Nottingham to repair mine...( some years ago) they were very good and knew this type off/box well.

There are two red electrical plugs in the engine bay....one used on an auto and one for the manual......sometimes they are incorrectly fitted.....try using the other one........

You want to try it with a new master cylinder, new flexible pipes, some new steel pipes, new callipers and not one.....but 2 new brake servo's.   It took 2 off us several attempts and a gallon of brak...
