Things move slowly with Frenchy!
So, once upon a time, you could hear the fuel pump priming before starting.
I shorted pins 30/87 on the RPM relay which forces the fuel pump to run, so that's go... |

I deduce then that Vent, heater and defrost are just directional choices with non aircon'd air blowing.

In summary, when I turn the key all looks good, until I either flash the high beam, press the brake pedal, or turn the starter, oh, and the indicators don't work at all, and the horn is intermittent.

I did the simple thing which was to replace the otterstat, recrimp the wires and install....
BUT, as before, bridge the gap, the fans come on so all wires etc.. good.
