Hi, A few weeks ago I took Vin 6191 down to a music video shoot. The band
Phoenix Foundation is a Wellington band of the pop/progressive genre, they did the music for the film Eagle vs Shark, a quirky New Zealand film directed by Taika Wiatiti, a neighbour of ours. We had a great day, listening to great music and making new friends. The music video has just been posted on You Tube by the band. Hope you enjoy the music and the seeing a DeLorean still sought out by these cool guys. ( the band members had seen the car around town and tracked me down only to find I lived 2 doors away from Taika!) The Phoenix Foundation have 2 CDs released and this video is for a song off their new album. You can also see a very rough recording of Sam Scott jamming with friends Julia Deans (ex Banshee Real current Fur Pratrol, Melbourne Australia based) and Barry Saunders of Warratahs at a local Wellington venue Mighty Mighty a couple of weeks ago by searching under Phoenix Foundation and arraging the list chronologically. Another great night. For a cover charge of NZ$15 we had 4 hours of music

That was an awesome video, slice of pure 80's
#6191 looked awesome mate! Such a shame they didn't reference it much in the video, only at the start and towards the end. All good publicity for the car though!!

Looks like the car has a bright red interior in the beginning (with matchting doorhandels), with luckily thats due to the lights in the studio ...

Has eny one seen this video from: Son Of Dork - Ticket Outta Loserville,(aka: James from busted) in the song year 2000 they mention BTTF! Now he's gone one better and put a d is ever few sec's.

Hi Yes those are red seats door pulls and the dppr panel above the armrests. The original seats were poor when it got it. The leather is the latest Mercedes red. I will post pics very soon if you wish.

The seats are nicely done (I like the logo), but a bit to "bright" for my taste. I like to keep the interior of a DeLorean as original as possible ...
