Bricklin Claims DeLorean Design as His Own!
#1
Hi all,

I'm almost as fascinated about the story around the Bricklin car as I am
about the DeLorean, and they really are very similar (the stories that is,
not finished article).

But I thought this was particularly cheeky of Malcolm Bricklin.... around
the middle of this clip (click link below), Malcolm suggests that John
DeLorean wanted to make his own car and Malcolm allowed him to
"Copy exactly the Pre-Prototype Bricklin"

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_NosbiOsjO4

I know that DeLorean took an interest in Bricklin when he was designing
the car etc... but I've never seen a sketch in any Bricklin literature that
even resembles a DeLorean?

Hmm a bit of poetic licence there me thinks!

James
Still gotta luv the Brick though

There is an article on them in last months 'Classic & Sports Car' Mag, the one with all the Ferarri's on the cover. Quite an interesting read, BTW.
