DOC Tec

Hi all,

excuse the parody name with Eurotech but I thought it'd be a good name for a reboot in our tech days. From the stories I've been told I feel this would be a great mini-event to run as an unofficial gathering in between official events. this is also similar to what gets run in the states that can consist of 2 different clubs

So the reason I'm bringing up a tech event is due to my car needing door alignment, same for Mich. I have been speaking to Miles about getting mine sorted since the NEC and he's willing to come our way and work his magic for anyone in need of door alignment and he'll discount his services if there are a few of us.

I'm putting a list together for anyone else who requires work going via Miles so let me know and hopefully, we can make some kind of event out of this  Big Grin

Nothing can replace getting hands on with your car with someone else who knows the car as well as, or better than you, for learning how to do jobs on your car, and for stopping stupid things happening with your car by avoiding dumb moments of inexperience by battling on by yourself regardless.

I'm sure there are a few owners out there who would definitely benefit and appreciate the opportunity to have a tech session on a car. Doesn't even have to be their own. Learning can take place for any job, on any car.

It's definitely an excellent idea to encourage a DOC tech session to become a regular annual event to support those interested and in need of such learning activity opportunities.

It's all about keeping our beloved cars alive and well, and enjoyed on the road after all; and above all.

absolutely, they used to be 'a thing' years ago, especially here in the Midlands.

Always happy to host something here and fire up the barby or lay on bacon cobs.

We also have a spare room for anyone travelling from further afield who wants to
have a few beers & stop over.

Also, for anyone needing reference points, #2292 is still in bits, so people can see the
chassis and other gubbins that are usually hidden from view.
