REALLY RETRO SHOW/CLUB MEET 24th June 2018
#16
If there was enough interest, would members want to consider making a weekend of it, and booking a hotel nearby for the Saturday night and doing something on the Saturday, even if its just a techie meet in the hotel car park?

Apparently, the feedback from the AGM at the NEC, was that this would be a popular event, so in the new year, I'll make enquiries about having a Club stand. I'll also look into hotel options for the area for anyone wanting to travel down on the Saturday, stop overnight, and make a weekend of it.

Ok chaps/chapesses.

I could do with a show of hands on this by the end of February please, as I need to book the Club Stand by the 1st March or we'll lose out on the chance of a Club stand at the event.

Hopefully Eddie can put summat in an upcoming DeLorean News to promote it to people not on the forum.

Ah! After forgetting about this post and commenting on another instead (I too am losing my memory in my old age Chris P :-D )

I'd like to confirm that if this turns out to be our chosen venue for our club get together for the year, that I will be up for attending and bringing LEX along. She's getting moved down with me (finally! after nearly 9 long years!) in May.

Brilliant, thanks for the support, hopefully a few more will chime in by the end of the month so I can book us a stand.

I would have thought Phill would be able to have SORBET on the road in time, but there's very little chance
of my DeLorean being done this year, so I'll probably take my Cavalier and park it with the Cavalier & Chevette Club.

Just reading the blurb, as a Club we need to supply details of the vehicle owners and their registration number
to the organisers, there is also a fee of £3.50 per car that the Club will have to pay up front.

See: https://form.jotformeu.com/53295755001352

If you can email me your full name and the registration number of your car, I will compile a list to send to the
organisers.

I see the other guys are having their Summer event on the same weekend in Norfolk, which is a shame as may dilute numbers attending both events.
