Fuel pump noise

After reading through other topics, i didn't find something similar.

When cold my fuelpump sounds normal, but after driving a while when the car
is good and warm the pump makes additional noise. More like i doesn't
get enough fuel delivered, but acceleration is always perfect. No matter if
the tank is full or running empty.
So i'm not thinking it's a collapsing pickup hose.

During my clean-up i drained the tank, cleaned it and the baffle.
It had a new tankfilter, fuelpump and boot. Only the pickup hose is still
original, looked like it was in good shape and not soft.

Any ideas?

You have changed all the primary culprits to this problem, so it's almost certainly a collapsing fuel pick up hose.

Hot fuel = Soft Rubber = Collapsed hose

The fuel pump delivers much more fuel than the engine uses, so you won't notice any fuel starvation unless the problem is very severe.

My pickup hose is only three years old and it is just beginning to cause problems in very warm weather.

Wind wome welding wire around a threaded rod and shove it down the hose, then unscrew the rod, leaving the welding wire in place inside the hose. It will expand and keep the hose from collapsing.

Thanks.. glad i asked just to be on the safe side.
Time to make another dive into my tank and make some adjustments.

Took out the pickup hose, reinforced it with a spring.
Problem solved..? No..
Turned out to be the feed line was touching the acces panel and making
that horrible noise.
