Hi Chris, I've heard that the PJ Grady struts are very good with a smooth action to stop the door bouncing when fully open. Another source is possibly Dave Howarth.

VIN 16723 Black Interior, Auto
I use the ones from SpecialT auto, they seem to have a good reputation also.

VIN#15768 Ex VIN#4584 1972 Bond Bug.
Don't by the DMC-EU ones. Very disappointed in mine. Hood and Louvre are far too strong, door struts are not strong enough Sad

I bought the PJ grady ones and they're great Smile
The special t ones are good so far,the doors rise fast and slow near the end of the travel, soft lift I think there called, good price too.
