Another great day today-Ol'Stainless sails through its mot test, well chuffed! There's no better feeling than driving away from the garage with a fresh ticket, car gleaming in the sunshine, not bad for a 33 year old car! 8)

Totally Agreed!
Mine has passed every year without advisory since ownership... 8 years this December...
Truly remarkable for a car of its age!
Congrats on the new ticket!

That MOT tester left a dodgy plastic seat cover on your car buddy!
I bought some specialist stainless cleaner for cookers when I first bought my D. I never used it just in case it affected the plastics or anything your cloth touches while you are cleaning the metal.
In my experience, and I stick by it, I find silicone spray works the best, otherwise named dashboard and vinyl dressing in an aerosol can. Removes dirt dust and hides imperfections with ease.

Point taken Ben, I've been using this cleaner for the best part of 10 years and to be honest nothing comes close to getting the stainless clean and gleaming-it doesn't affect rubber or plastic and it's gentle enough not to mark any paint, ask Phil Wright ( of Sorbet fame), he can vouch for the results!! 8)

Well if my stainless ever decides to sprout limescale, it will be first on my shopping list!
