Wanted: gear lever and gaiter

Hi everybody!

Looking for a gear lever (mine has snapped) the Eurotec forum guys told me it matches a lotus esprit s1 but thought I'd check if anyone had one here before I order.

Plus a gear gaiter too!

Have you tried Dave Howarth? always worth a (long) phone call.

Possibly worth welding it back together? Gaiters from delorean.com have a metal bracket

I seem to recall my plastic gaiter boot surround was repaired many moons
ago when I had a new leather boot.

I dread to think how much Lotus want for a new gear stick..... but yes,
try Dave Howarth first, if not the good old 'Bay of E' may come up trumps.

I know Auto gearshifters are identical looking to a Renault 30 (and prob others
too), except for the fact they have a Renault diamond on them rather then
the embossed DMC.

Tried welding, but as it broke in a certain point it means you no longer have to lift to reverse, so you can just shift over..

Not ideal..

Lotus want £105 inc vat and delivery so not toooooo bad..
