Hi All, Where other than windscreen and door is my vin and how should it read ? Thanks

Those two are the only places.

Actually the vin can be found in 2 other places, just not on the car.

The V5 / Log Book will have it, and so will the MOT certificate. Also any service records will probably have it. But as Richard pointed out, the dash and the door jam are the most usual places.

From my exerience the numbers on the car and on the reg document are often a little bit different! 8's changed B's ad zero's etc. ( on 3 of the cars I have owned for sure) !
