DMC Vins List For All UK & Ireland
#1
http://www.dmcnews.com/faq/img/news/n_vinlst.pdf

This is a fascinating document, and all credit to Knut Grimsrud for
compiling it.

However, if you see your car on here, and its details are incorrect,
you can contact Knut and the record will be updated.

Not a bad document at all.

5284 is still listed as US-side
5641 as Hertfordshire and restored

I look forward to seeing my next car on there Wink

have you emailed Knut with that info Chris? He's probably the only person who can change this list.

Folks,

as you may have noted, that list was compiled in 2006. I'm not sure that Knut is still maintaining it, though it is a good reference document as it records original dealers etc

The current "keeper of the flame" is Shannon Birdwell from the Texas owners club, see here

http://www.txdmc.org/

and go to the "registry" tab, scroll to the bottom and hit the Cronology button.

He can also be reached at birdwells (at) usa.net for updates

There is also a link to the semi-official Delorean Owners Directory (DOD) which you might want to join..

Here is the most recent Vin List

After many (many) hours I think we have finally come up with a list of UK Vin's. This is for the UK excluding N.Ireland and the Republic of Ireland BUT includes the islands around us (Isle of Man/Jersey/Etc). This is after many hours of work between myself Shannon and with some help from Alistair V. Anyway this is where I think we are with the list as of 10/06/2015 There are no doubt some that are wrong or are in the wrong location but it's not far off. This is just an abbreviated list, it does not include such things as registration numbers/club member numbers Etc. I do have a list of another 20 or so registrations but don't as yet have a VIN to match them up to, so they may or may not be extra.

About 275 on this list plus another 20+ I cant cross ref VIN's-Registrations, so some may well be on the list already

[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND] Latest list has been placed in a new thread.

They're all "black".. no grey? Mine is grey (4566) - assuming that's interior. Smile

17152 now has a black interior not the original grey. Just as a matter of correctness the Isle of Man is _NOT_ part of the UK so if this list is for UK cars it should be removed.

Yep, had not thought of that one! Though if it's OK with you I will include the Islands within the list?

I think it's a mistake excluding NI vins from the list if you have them, since this is where the cars were made! There are some significant VINs in NI too (early cars and RHD cars) Please include all of the UK if there is to be a UK VIN List.

Hi Chris, not problem with me, I do agree with Stuart though NI cars must be on the list especially if my old hector is breaking the rules by being on the list.

Oh dear, Opened a can of worms hear Cry I will add the N.Ireland ones to the list of UK cars, I have them on as a separate list anyway. Though I don't think it's anywhere near as accurate as for the rest of the UK.
