Warwick Castle Fathers Day Show. 19th June 2011
#1
This year, Fathers Day at Warwick Castle promises to immerse Dad’s of all ages into the World of Planes, Trains and Automobiles – and I would very much like you to be a part of it.

Last years Classic Car Show was a hugely successful and enjoyable event, both for those that accepted the invitation to display their vehicles and especially for the thousands of Visitors that were entertained throughout the day. This year we are looking to expand this experience in celebrating the more iconic Marques…..

The majority of the Event will again take place on the rolling Pageant Field, with access to the Castle to set up either on the evening of Saturday 18th June or the morning of Sunday 19th June.

I very much hope you will be interested and available to display your vehicle(‘s) at the Event on Sunday 19th June 2011 and with this in mind, please give me a call or drop me an email in the first instance with an expression of interest and I will be happy to send through more details regarding the event.

Many thanks & I look forward to speaking to you soon.

Charlotte.

I have now received from Charlotte an entry form for this event that I can
email to anyone who's interested in coming along.

You get free entry for yourself and a passenger to the castle and grounds,
I know from when I visited the castle several years ago its a great day out
and a fascinating place to visit - plus medieval Warwick itself is a beautiful
place with some wonderful historic buildings.

If you want an entry form, please email me directly treasurer@deloreans.co.uk
and I'll get one over to you (which can then be emailed to Charlotte).

on behalf of the Club, I'd like to thank Warwick Castle for their hospitality yesterday.

The organisers were very pleased to see us and came over to thank us personally for attending.

It goes without saying the De's were mobbed for most of the day, and James Baker was in his absolte
element due to the Ecto1 and KITT that were on display too lol

Pics to follow once I've sorted them out on Photobucket - I'll also post a linky to more pics on Facebook.

Just to be a bore, I have seen Stellars Sea Eagle in the wild. It was on the border of North and South Korea on the Han River in the depths of winter. They are enormous birds and have been known to take seals. This is a proper bird!!

lol Mike, I must admit she was a very impressive bird, 8ft wingspan and the beak must have been
4 inches long! And as for the talons, lets just say I wouldnt want to get on the wrong side of her!
