DOC-UK Xmas meet up - 20th December - all members welcome!

Hi all,

if you fancy a pre-Xmas get together, we are booking up a chinese 'all you can eat'
type restaurant for 20th December. Time tba, but probably around 1pm.

All DOC-UK members are welcome to come along and join in the fun

Details:

Oriental Place, 1331 Matlock Road, Ambergate, Derbyshire.

This is on the main A6 between Belper and Matlock and is 15 mins from J28 of the M1 and
about 5 mins from the A38. The restaurant comes highly recommended by several DOC-UK
members, including Malc Lomas and Julian Hunt (and their respective good ladies )

If I can have an idea on numbers by say, the second week of December, that would be ideal so
that I know how many places to book at the restaurant.

quick post-script, this is now booked, and I've told them that sofar 11 are coming, but
possibly more, which they are ok about.

Table is booked from 1pm, so if we can arrange to get there between, say, 12.30 and 1pm?

Hi all,

New to the forum. I hope you are all well.

Sorry if this sounds cheeky but I am from Sheffield and I would love to bring my 4 year old son (delorean enthusiast like his dad) to see a handful of amazing deloreans as part of his Christmas. He has been brought up with the car and has a remote control bttf car wrapped and ready.

So what I am asking is, without disturbing your dinner. Would it be possible to bring my son for a sneaky snap next to one of your fine examples.

Again appologies for the cheek but an opportunity so close to home is rare.
