Calendar
#1
I suppose this may have been suggested before, but would a DOC calendar be a good thing to produce?
You could send your photos in, and the 12 winning photos for that year get printed, with
a center spread with other cars on there, for those cars who didnt make the "Month" photo.

Would make great gifts, and id imagine they would sell pretty well.
Printing costs into consideration of course. ( Phil ? )

Just a thought!

I think this was something Dan Shane was looking into - I agree they would be good sellers, but we'd need to produce them in the summer to start selling them from September onwards.

If the price was right, they'd sell very well at the NEC especially - I'd have one!! Smile

Hi All,

Yeah I looked into doing them. The price was going to come out around £15 but I only got pictures from 5 people. Nowhere near enough for a calendar.

If you want I can do it again, but I need more pictures Big Grin

You can for me. Big Grin
Sounds like a great idea to get this ball rolling again.
We need a bigger showing of hands this time then.
Maybe James Espey could give us a nice pic or two of proto1?
Obviously Glen would give us a pic or two from his BTTF DeLorean.
Early Vins, Chaved up D's, Maybe also one of Bozzy's pics from
Ashes To Ashes?

Im sure there's plenty of material out there, and im sure it should'nt
be 'just' concours stuff.

Maybe a vote too, to see how many people would buy it?

Dan,
Where would you like people to send pictures if we're to start making a calendar?
I have a few ready to send, and no doubt others will want to send some in too.

I have lots of professional quality photos taken with my digital SLR. If it ever goes official, I might be able to contribute...

I would happily supply some pictures, including some factory originals, never seen before.
