Las Vegas delorean car show 2009
#1
Hi-ya all,
The lovely Suzanna Haldeman has told me that any of us brits that wish to go to the Delorean show in Vegas in September of next year can now register and book a hotel room as well at http://www.dcswest.info/ , I just thought I would share that with you, if the link don't work in which I don't think it does then the address is dcswest something or other, you'll find it I'm sure if your that keen in going. Anyway Uncle Tony and myself are travelling up to the NEC next weekend, and we are travelling by virgin train, and hopefully we might be escorted up there by Andrew Saches granddaughter, and hopefully she will abuse Tony and I so much that we will be walking funny for the rest of the weekend. Not wishing to spread any rumours but Tony popped round for a cuppa Char Sunday and ended up chatting up my next door neighbour.
It will be great to see all those who are going up to the NEC, and maybe pop out for a few beers and a pillage on saturday night.
Regards Jay Monk

honestly, you two!!! lol

Now we could well be up for this event, as we can tie it in with driving up to visit friends in
Washington (state not DC).

I'll just go and check how much the airfare and hire car is.......... Big Grin

woo hoo!!!!!! just checked the flights, Virgin Atlantic (oh god, that'll get Tourettes going....)
return trip to Vegas from Gatport Airwick is only £923.20 including all charges and taxes for
the two of us Big Grin (British Airways is nearly £1200 and you have to change at Dallas and the trip
is 15 hours instead of 10h45m Sad )

Right, now to check out hire cars .............. haha!! about £283 for 12 days for a 'luxury car' and
about £360 for a convertible......... now I'm sure I can cadge a free upgrade

I wonder how far it is from Vegas to Yakima? :? time to dig the atlas out....... 8)

Nice one. I'd like to go to this too but don't want to go all that way just to look at deloreans so would want to tie it in with a holiday. The hard bit is finding mates who also have the money to go

we'd tie it in with visiting friends in the US, but like you say, its costing it up and saving up the
pennies to do it. With any luck, by then, I'll have had a nice fat payout from the insurance
company for the car accident I was in back in January 2007.......

its called having a useless solicitor - who apparantly now no longer works for the company Smile
and going by the conversation I had with her replacement on Friday, it looks like the old
solicitor has totally wasted the last year - so fingers x'd for a quick resolution!!

Mind you, Phill's sister was in a bad car smash a few years ago, and that took 4 years to sort out :?
