Heh, yeah I caught a glimpse of that yesterday. Gotta give them some credit for all that effort. Be interesting to know exactly what it cost to do and see how close to an actual dmc he was! Ironic that there is a bit of dmc in there, all be it very small, the glove compartment latch Tongue

Think I'll let this dream go to another bidder

I think it was all a bit "tounge in cheek" from memory...!

The "modifications" were done 2 owners ago for a trip to Le Mans - I'm guessing deliberately as badly as possible for some reason, then sold on eBay to "astraboy", who did this post:

when selling it on eBay again - almost to Tyson....
after doing the "Scumball Rally" in it

He sold it on eBay to the current owner. Here's the link to the original auction:

It's only done 750 miles since the speedo picture was taken during the rally. Probably even less practical than a D for the school run. I think I'd rather drive round in that pink Ford!

Hi all arran is spot on the car was so cheesy it was great we thought we made astra boy a offer on the car and had a deal.my friend and i took the day off work to go and pick it up one saturday 2hour drive got there the lad pulled it out his garage turned it off to open the boot then we all got in to take it out for a drive and it was dead in the water.so what a waste of a day another 2 hour drive home without the car £30 worth of fuel and £25 for the insurance for a day.I cant blame atraboy i know it wasnt his fault but it didn't stop him selling it for i think about £650 or so but the car had done about 2 rally and i know one thing for sure and that is that this car will def not make it through another rally.

kind regards tyson
