Halfords - sigh
#16
All of this is the main reason myself and everybody I know only know Halfords as 'Hellfrauds'. This new name says it all im affraid  The local Halfords to me just seems to employ College drop-outs. Not a pleasant retail experience. Oh yeah, and their zip-ties are rubbish
Kind Regards,

Yep, it's all about being the intelligent customer.

Work out the cross-refences yourself, find out what a car spares shop is likely to have in a book or 'on the computer' and then ask for that.

I fear there may even be an element of not trying because if you're supplied the wormg part and it drops off, 'someone might sue us for the damage'.

I've heard that one before now when an old chap asked the guy at the car spares shop to help him change his wiper blades. 'Sorry, we're supply only...'
