Getting PCBs made up
#1
Does anyone have any idea how much it costs roughly to get a PCB made up? I'm only interested in a very basic board. I have it made up on veroboard and on that its only about 4" x 2.5"

I'm only after a very rough idea for a few quantities.

Cheers for any advice Big Grin

Speak to Richard Hutchinson (RichH) - he's got his own electronics
business and makes stuff like that all the time Smile

About £35 will get you a prototype board, you may get a couple of boards for that. That assumes you have designed the board layout yourself.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.

Are you gonna buy all the acid, copper boards and such and do it yourself? Or are you thinking of getting it done by someone?

Price would drop significantly, depends on the final board size, but single layer, without top overlay approx 2.5"x1.5" should come in at less than £100
