Cheapest place for road legal number plates?
#1
I am looking to get a pair of road legal number plates (i.e. with BSAU 145a logo... legal for MOT).

Anyone knows the cheapest place to get a pair made?
Kind Regards,
John [DOC No. 8]

They cost me about £7 a pair (without GB logo) through work, but they
might have our company's name on - I can probably get them sorted
without the name on though.

Wow, that's bargain! How much extra (if there is such option) for the GB logo?

GB logo doesnt cost owt, but if you remove our company name from the
bottom, then you'd need to replace it with something else, like your postcode.

Ironic considering you can get the first MOT after import with no plate at all :?

I actually make them as a part of my job, and can make them with/without a postcode, with /without our garage title, and spaced exactly how you want them. I have even made ones with different style lettering in 2 colours, all sorts of logos, and honeycombed 3D effect too. Shame I can't make them for just anybody. Sad

Oh, and on the note, you dont's need to have a postcode on a plate registered before a certain date anyway, 2002/2003 I think. I've got the regulations on the wall by out plate maker... But that's enough of the fairy tales! Tongue

Smile I just rang through to our Parts Department to ask them if they could
make them without our company logo - they didnt ask what age of car the
plates would be going on - our plates are always made to the same standard
for all our Mercs at work

John, if you need them, PM me your registration number and I'll get it sorted
for you at work on Monday. I take it they are UK sized plates you need, not
special size ones? (ie to fit the rear number plate space on a Japanese/US import)
