hi

i watched it too.
and Mrs S.

caught the glimse on the preview...we'll all be watching!.

i like this...i grew up in the 80's. Next week is Charles and Di's wedding.

Remember watching it all on TV, on holiday in orkshire!
Back home they had a street party. only time when all the neighbours talked to each other.

what else did you spot?. the 70's/80's tennis girl. the main and portable TV (like ours then). the commodore pet computer. i used on with 8k wow in the days of a 1k ZX80 kit.
The 80's hifi top load cassette (always had dolby!) and the 33/45 player. ours even had 78 speed back then. bought ex jukebox singles with the middle bit missing!

what other 80's things did any one spot (apart from the cars!)

liked the Gary Numan stuff.

bring back the 80's

Cheers for that ...You can even download the full programme to keep for 30 days

However If you stream the programme the trailer for next week is at the end

Seems like everyone I have spoken too really enjoyed it too I know I did ... but a few are a bit concerned about the car explosion at the end ......

Hope your all well.

I'm too young for the 80s, unfortunately. I loved watching this though.

Having said that, I love films made in the 80s too. Big Grin

yeah, we noticed loads of stuff - things that are probably still kicking around
in my mum's loft too (must go on a raiding session... )

Some great background music too, including The Stranglers, The Clash Smile,
but there was one record towards the end, and I cant for the life of me remember
who it was by - will have to download the programme and get my thinking
cap on! lol

The 80's were my 'growing up' years (I was 10 in 1981), so I remember it
well, and this is such a cool nostalgia trip Smile

Roll on next week! Big Grin

(PS - I *think* its a Paris Blue Ford Escort [like the one I used to own] that
gets blown up next week)

hi

we too were trying to think of that song.

clash, blancmange etc i said Bryan Ferry but the mrs said no!

good thing is, a programme like this plays the stuff that maybe go to number 5 or 10, that you never here or is on compilation albums
