Fair play to you Ben, I understand about feeling you are over weight. Im no slim jim, but I do also believe some of us are just naturaly, weighty,
and if you mess up your chemical balance by dieting like crazy, that can do just as much damage as being over weight,
Hey what with all the sales being on you could buy some more microwaves, beating up household appliances must burns lots of calories right?
Still a bit concerend why you are watching DVDs of singing naked men
Just kidding mate,
Happy new year to you and good luck with the weight loss, just play it slow

Hi Ben,

well, I've put on nearly 2 stone since moving to Derbyshire in March 2006,
so I need to lose weight too - I've yo-yo dieted for years, and just when I
manage to get back down to the magic 10 stone and a size 12, it all goes
pear shaped (literally) again......

Dunno what the answer is for me - my mum was 7st 10lb when she married
my dad in 1970, now, she's more 'cuddly' and she too has been on various
diets and stuff over the years. Mebbe I'm just designed to follow suit?

I'm gonna try really hard tho to get some sort of figure back just in case
we get a summer this year - and I wish you all the best too.

Hi Ben

Can you pm me your email address please?

I have a 365 page Ebook for you to read, judging from what I have read so far, I am fairly sure you havent read it.

Once upon a time I was 12 stone, and had a pretty good physique which took a little work, but I was blessed with the right genetics.. then changed job roles slightly, eat more, drank more as a result of a disastrous marriage and protracted divorce, and rocketed to 16-17 stone.

Now after 2 years I am back to 141/2 stone, and getting back down to 12 slowly, its when you hit the plateau and you cant shift the last 1-2 stone that the gloom sets in.

As you know doubt already know dieting doesnt work..not in the long term anyway, a lifestyle change is whats required, and this book has it all from start to finish.

Good luck, you have got down to your target weight before so you can do it again.

Cheers[/img]

Hi

Just mailed it...

Its zipped up with Winrar as its a big file, and a big read!!

It does give a different aspect on the way to approach it and continue.

Unoperational domestic appliances....if you pick the right manufacturer you'd probably shed more pounds trying to fix them than smash them up!!!

Cheers

The back of Viz magazine....

Yes I think I did see it there...come to think some of those Viz adverts are legendary.

There was one which advertised holidays in Bodmin..untangling kites..

Now that would shift pounds!

Cheers

I think whats held me back from exercising and getting fit so long was
having a buggered left leg for about 8 years, and now with my pending
shoulder surgery I feel like I'm being held back again from getting fit.

I'm just dying to get on with physical jobs, like sorting out the garden,
fixing up my Cavalier - hell even driving the De again sometime! The
only exercise as such I get at the moment is going out into the fields with
Phill to drag back tree trunks and branches to cut up as logs for the fire.

I want to get back out on my bike now my leg is better... just need to sort
the puncture out......

I've got the desire to change my weight (downwards), I just need to put
it into practice.

Oh, where do I start !

Ben, if you want to look slim, come and stand next to me mate !

When you get old you will indefinately get old age wrinkles appearing and skin tone loses its elasticity. Go on the "enjoy life and be happy" diet Big Grin You will naturally "plump out" the wrinkles looking youthful and buoyant instead of old and haggered. I'm 49 and look 35 Big Grin

Oh who am I kidding  I'm built like a bouncing castle for the ladies 8)

Nick-gotdacushion4dapushin-T

ps I was slim when I was at UNI as I used to do Karate. Brilliant sport. Unfortunately I had to give it up when I buggered my leg up. Now I am in a job sat in front of a computer, sat in meetings or behind the wheel of a car Sad

See now i'm aiming for a six pack by the time of the Evesham show (mid june). I know i can do it because i've done it before. Its just the start that gets me. I have a bad back and doing sit ups hurts. But only for a week. Once you start strengthening up the muscles in the front of youre body it helps support you more so it takes the strain of youre back thus sorting out the back ache. I wish you all the very best in fact i wish all who are trying to lose the weight the very best. If you need inspiration remember Chrispy about 5 years ago. Then go see him now. We'll compare six's at Evesham Ben. Challenge on son Both for me and you. I know you can do it.
