Pontiac Firebird

I found this on eBay:

It says (in red):

John Zachary DeLorean (January 6 1925 - March 19 2005) was an American engineer and executive in the U.S. automobile industry, and founder of the De Lorean Motor Company. He was most well known for developing the Pontiac GTO muscle car.

I would of thought that JZD was more well known for the DMC-12???

The GTO was probalby his most famous early achievement, as Pontiac wern't doing too well at the time, so he took 'yer granny's' Pontiac Tempest, and stuck a big engine in it and hey presto, the GTO was born. Ok, so not 'quite' how it happened, but thats the jist

does this mean that k i t t and dmc are related if so that means i got a family woo hoo
