Martin needs to contact Ebay about this - especially as people in the States are bidding on this car........
I notice this listing is still live.........
Martin - you had any joy with ebay trying to get them to pull it?

I dont think that car looks to bad tbh, and it looks fairly genuine,
its just that its been laid up for 11 years.
Obviously it will need thorough recomissioning, ie servicing, fluids,
brakes, etc, and the auto box may require some work, but I think
it looks ok for the money. Obviously, remember to factor in adding
about 30% onto the price to get it to the UK and through Customs.
I like the Vin too - #1995
If anyone on here does buy it, can I swap my coin tray for the flocked
one in that car?

Which one you referring to mate? 200177010617 is deffo the dodgy one
using the pics of Martin's car.
190177126021 looks more genuine, with more pics, plus the sellers
phone number too so that you can ring him and check it out.

Id be a bit cautious. The guy seems to be just selling the car, it would appear he has not driven it much , if at all, He probably buys and sells ,so you may not get any indepth history of the car or knowledge of any problems it has got,
it looks like a nice car, but on this one I think you would need to either speak to the previous owner, or have it inspected,
just my opinion,, good luck with finding the right car

Well spotted mate.
I have sent the buyer a question, and will let you know what his reply is...
This is my Q:
"Alright mate,
the third pic and the last pic seem to be different interiors/cars...
Please explain?
David"

just been looking at the pics, and the ones where you can actually
see the seats, it is obvious its a black interior car, but the last one
showing the backboard I reckon was taken with a flash, which has
made it look lighter then it is.
I found the same problem with Flopsy (only 297 vins & 1 month different
to the 'not so dodgy car - with the dodgy looking bloke in the photo  ).
She too is black interior/dark grey carpet, but if I use a flash it makes
the interior look alot lighter then it is.

THIS IS THE CAR THAT APART FROM THE ISSUES RAISED ABOUT IT STOOD FOR LONGER THAN SOME OFF US HAVE LIVED, IT LOOKS LIKE IT COULD BE OK.
THE OTHER CAR THAT IS VERY QUESTIONABLE IS ON EBAY BUT THE PICS ARE STOLEN FROM STUNNED MONKEYS ADD OF HIS CAR,

Also beware of good feedback, that don't mean anything. 2 years ago, I mailed Chris Parnham with a car in the states i was interested in. Chris told me it was awfully cheap for what was on offer, and when i emailed the seller, it appears he did't have a DeLorean at all and someone had hijacked his account. The car was supposed to be in this country along with it's merchant navy owner, but the scammer only wanted a usa sale, and his so called merchant navy crew would bring the car completely free of charge back to the states, as the taxes were too much for him to afford to register the car here in the uk. A very interesting saga, it was then I realised, what with the high rate of thefts and damage during shipping, i was going to source a car from the UK.
My motto is, get a specialist company to do the work....
