While wasting an hour I came across this Delorean for sale at Silverstone Classic Car Auction on the 31st July if anyone is interested seems a low estimate, dare say there with be Dealers sniffing around to bump up the price on that estimate?

MOT results over the last few years seemed to have a lot of failures, would this be a sign of the car generally needing a lot of work?

I saw that as well but most were for the tyres so I wouldn't read too much into it. It could be the case or it could be just someone looking to keep the original tyres, I wouldn't if I was planning on using it but you never know folks circumstances.

Yehh other than cross member rust seems fairly common DeLorean MOT failure items.

Sold for £25,875. Plus additional costs I make that just short of £30k at £29,755 (12.5% plus VAT on that).
So, someone grabbed a bargain or an expensive project?

I think it was a good buy.
DeLoreans don't seem to do very well at auctions ...most people's natural caution kicks in.
.....Ive bought 4 from actions over the years and don't regret any on them.........live dangerously folk if you want a bargain ...is my tip.......or pay RETAIL!

Very close VIN to mine.
Not a bad price at 30k. Again the auction house wins...

Hi there, newbie alert!. I looked at this but figured it would go for a lot more than the estimate and factor in the 12.5% fees. Hence my decision to buy one in the US. Do you know how much it went for?
