Yes, sorry 88, I wasn't having a go.

But i'm a little disappointed that when-ever a 'cheap' car comes up for sale there are usually a load of negative comments immediately flying around, which could put off many potential UK buyers.
To a lot of folk now, with tidy cars making £30k+, buying a 'fixer-upper' may now be their ONLY way into ownership.
Known comments about the cars history are always very useful …fair enough. But in my experience, if the car has a reasonable Chassis frame and is complete, but scruffy and doesn't look as if its been mucked about with, the rest of it is usually do-able by a competent D.I.Y. owner. It's unusual for there to be serious engine / gearbox problems. ( In any case I have a couple of good donor engines and a new Auto box should anyone want one) Sometimes you just have to take a punt…… ( I've done it enough times now and never regretted it with a DeLorean)
It was great to see David ( DMCNI?) in Belfast…..finally driving the car I encouraged him to buy a couple of years ago…. yes its a risk..…but so is life!..
The photo below was one of my riskier buys! But all good now.
