That car has been discussed at length on DMCtalk. I believe offers in the $2k range were about right, but rejected (from the original roadside owner). It seems silly money now given how much is missing. Especially since other cars they've had have been pretty good... maybe it has more of an interesting history than I know about!

Interesting histories may add to the interest, but in my experience, very little to the value.

Ex Vin 510, 522, Dusty, 20049 etc.

You're getting old, or cynical, Chris!

You're not wrong, but a DeLorean is a DeLorean! You know, upbeat, not down Wink

I'm definitely getting old Dan….but my Delorean is a DeLorean is a very upbeat thing….they are all great…..brilliant it fact.

You can never have too many DeLoreans, although 4 RHD's could be considered excessive!

"Could be called excessive"?

Could?!

I've known you long enough to know that that is not the truth. Not with you. You're the first person I met in the club (hell, you came looking for me!) and I've never thought anything could be excessive with your love of the marque Smile

Crikey. I was thinking that car looked a decent project - glass, doors and body panels need sorting obviously. But then I saw the engine bay - no engine! And the interior - no gearbox. But the cherry on the cake really has to be that replacement chassis! Turning circle could prove a challenge...

Yes and I suspect the ride could be even harder than a BMW . Sad

Looks familiar. Wasn't the other car the French one? Maybe not..

Prior to '96 or whenever we met, I was a DOA member for years, thinking it was all pretty US-exclusive. How things change...
