Hi all - Could be a long shot but here goes.....
Does anyone have a spare radiator doesn't leak water that they would like to exchange cash for????
The bottom of my rad has disintergrated
My other option could be to get it re-cored.
Cheers
Kelv

i got one from martin, i took it to my local rad repairer and he said its not a standard core so its best to get a new rad.

It is a standard core, My radiator builder gets new cores and only reuses the end tanks if they are good.

Its looking like a re-core at the moment, gonna contact a local rad specialist and hope for the best!!!!
The end tanks on mine are metal (or brass) so will that matter if i go for a re-core? They seem in good condition.
Cheers - Kelv - with withdrawal symtoms from not driving the D....

		Hi Kelvin
If your end tanks are metal then your rad is an aftermarket replacement already.

		Kelvin,
As a temporary fix - you're welcome to one of our secondhand plastic radiators. The ones we have work fine - it's just that as a rule, we only ever fit brass - so we have a growing collection of old plastic ones!
Free to you if you want to come and collect it.
Thanks
Darren

		No problem Kelvin!
Hope it works OK - just be careful of that little plastic tube at the top - they're prone to snapping!
Any problems - give us a shout.
Best regards
Darren
