DOC-UK at Trowell Steam and Classic Car Show 14.06.09

Pics attached from a very chilled out weekend enjoyed by myself and Phill, RichH and Malc & Gaye Lomas.

We started off yesterday with a barbeque and mini tech sesh at ours, then today we set off
for Trowell (nr Nottingham). The weather was glorious all day, and there was a lovely mix of cars, motorbikes, tractors, steam engines, commercial vehicles and RichH's friends were there too with their Saladin Armoured Car and Striker Missile Launcher!

Malc and Gaye left 'Del Boy' at home, and gave their lovely 'Tigpine' an outing, which has been subject to a lengthy restoration and rebuild and is a real tribute to the work they have put into it.

All in all, a fabulous chilled out day, very enjoyable, and a lovely end to the weekend.

we too had a great weekend good food ,good company, good weather,did spend an hour looking for mobile phone no signal at claire,s it was hiding in centre consul :? , took tigpine for mot today she passed, will be booking for chirk this week seems to be a lot going on there :lol:

There's another local (to us) show on Saturday, its the Long Eaton Carnival (nr J25 of the M1/Derby),
we'll be there for 10.30am.
