I'd like to come along - can you add me to the list? I'll drive down on the Saturday morning and meet you all at Morgan.
Great news!

Could you drop Claire a line please: treasurer@ Deloreans.co.uk to let her know your full name and how many places. Thanks

It's shaping up to be quite a good turnout.

Hopefully everyone has received their DOC Flyers at home now too.

got mine yesterday although it was quite damp from the rain  Tongue
thank you to everyone who's confirmed they are coming, I've had an amazing response
so far with plenty of emails coming in from people wanting to attend.

Lets make this event a huge success and get a good turnout of cars!
Thank you to Brian and Jill Morgan who are local to Malvern and are
organising the scenic tour after the factory visit, and are looking into a
good place for a pitstop and a coffee before returning to the hotel for
the evening.

There's still plenty of time to register your interest in attending, however
I do ideally need to give Morgan Cars an idea on definite numbers by the end
of August/beginning of September, so that they can organise the catering
for the buffet lunch they are doing us.
I've booked in to the hotel so I'm intending to be there for the weekend. It's been a while since I've been able to attend much of anything so I'm looking forward to seeing "you lot". Smile
Excellent news, thanks Dan, look forward to seeing you there!
Fantastic news Dan, will you be bringing your DeLorean too?
Is it just you or your family too? Its just so I can let Morgan
know numbers.
Just me and at the moment, no DeLorean. I've only 150 miles on it and a 5th gear issue I won't have time to investigate fully (it pops out if not under load).
okay, no problem - we're hoping to get at least Sorbet on the road in time, but otherwise
we'll only be in the Mokka-e.

Indeed; the car is fine and drives really well but I'm told that of the gearbox issues to have, a 5th gear one can be quite costly (i.e. the big nuts working its way through the box and causing much damage, or a missing ball bearing...) or it might just be adjustment. Plus, well, the 22 miles to Goodwood does my back no favours, so 100 miles would cripple me. Getting old is much fun!
I agree Dan......but......irritating that it is, its better than the alternative ........
Certainly is Chris! I'm looking forward to seeing people thoigh, even if via my more comfortable daily driver.
This is a quick post to let anyone still considering coming along to this event,
that myself or Rich Hanlon need to know final numbers by the end of this month
as we need to give numbers to Morgan for sorting out the tours and also the catering
for the buffet they are putting on for us.

If you have any food allergies or intolerances (like I do) or are a vegetarian/vegan,
I will need to pass that on too.

Please support this event if you can and make it a success, a lot of effort, particularly
by Rich has gone into planning and organising this for the benefit of Club members.
Did I mention the veggie bit? Doesn't matter too much if not.
