i would love one of those .....

just changed my brake fluid today... would have beeen stacks easier with that.
Sorry Stuart, no pictures of the D jacked up, but I can take some when the replacement pipes arrive and I jack her up again....

All I did was put a simple wheely 4 tonne jack under the rear suspension ( and a block of wood to protect ) and lift her up, put in a support and hey presto!

well I'm half way though this job..... geez.... I think I need to go down the gym. How TIGHT are all the nuts holding the fuel lines on the Accum!

Doesn't help you are working in such a tight gap.

I got the thing off and replaced in about 3 hours.... fired the car up and she's got the tiniest of fuel leaks from the 17mm nut. So I'm heading back down the barn today to whip it out and go "Rambo" on it.
Finally, Frenchy is back on the road!

Nice feeling...it's been far too long...about 6 months(?)

Anyway, I noticed when reversing up the driveway in the dark, the reverse light doesn't come on (even though reverse is selected) UNTIL I lift and therefore engage the clutch!

Is this normal for a D?

Ta,

Mat
dont think so............. Flopsy's reverse light switch used to be very temperamental cos it was caked in oil and all sorts of crap.

If you get under the car and give it a good clean up, it might help......

Cheers,

Claire (just rolled in from t'pub Big Grin )
