Hello gents, I know i've been very quiet on the forums the last few years. I've sadly had a rough time personally for the last 3 years, so my Delorean has been on the back burner for a while. However earlier this year things have improved, and I had a bit of work done on my car. She's looking great!

I was approached by someone I know in the TV industry about supercar megabuild, the Delorean episode. This quickly transpired in to me taking me car to be filmed with Shane at Blyton Park for the day, and me being featured on the show! Therefore you'll see my beloved BAK5T (previously one of Chris Parnham's Cars) and myself on the show!

I had a great day with the team and was very memorable.

Enjoy the show. It was great fun making it!

Martin.
Yes my former brilliant LHD ......one of the last built in 1983, vin 20049. The best put together/driving LHD I ever had.

The photo was taken in 2006  when it was masquerading as a 1981 at the Queens birthday bash.

Yes that's that one! She behaved impeccably on the track, expertly driven by Shane. He loved it to bits (despite what he says on screen for the program!)
Yes well...TV stories are still 'stories'...they usually decide what they are going to say before the even get near the car....just like Quentin Dick-head did many years ago with 'The cars the Star'.......or not, as in his case.

Indeed the case. But what a great day. And she looked fantastic on screen.

I'm sure you'd be happy with the condition I've kept her in. Night and day the difference between mine and another they used for the show.

And soon she'll  be home in my new double garage soon!
was yours the one that had the fancy lights etc added to it?

No mine was BAK5T, the near as new one shown on track at the start of the show!
Sorry but I haven't been able to watch the show yet as it hasn't been on Stateside yet. Just looking at photos.

Whose car was upgraded then?
don't know if it's against the rules.. but ahem
Seems that's been blocked!
not had a chance to watch it yet, but will do so on Catch Up.
the site is blocked... try https://unblocked.srl/... lots of stuff there. but the program in question i found on the torrent project site.
I saw this last night; they did a really good job and they didn't slam the car at all. It's interesting it was all done on the premise of the 2017 car (or whenever it appears). The interior, particularly, was very impressive.

I look forward to the upgrades being offered (at silly money) for us.
It was interesting to see a modern take on the car, the rear light idea was interesting.
