I saw this a number of weeks ago - just my opinion - I didn't like the rear light set up at all - it looked really tacky to me. The interior was a nice touch. I was also impressed by the process of making the foam moulds resulting in the new panels.
Yes, the rears were interesting, though clearly a mock-up and non-functional (at least from what I saw). The idea would fall flat with a number/license plate though!
Of all the rubbish I've seen, I was impressed they tried to keep the modifications in keeping with the car rather than trying to force something new (i.e. wide body/skirts etc) on it. But, since it's stainless, it'll never be an easy car to "update".
Does anyone have a copy of this I could watch?
I can only find a Portuguese version on YouTube! No good to me

Having watched one I saw (I thought it was in Russian!!) I think there was more than one car involved, as the main interior shots were in an Auto and some of the 'Driving' in my former car which was is a manual...TV magic again I think!
I've got it Tris (and other Delorean shows) but it's trapped on a SKY Plus box, we don't have sky TV at the mo.
So, if you know of a way to watch it or extract it, you can borrow the box...
