my (almost) newly installed waterpump started to leak last week, so I've striped the thing down and re-sealed the backplate with a new gasket and new (gobs of) sealant. I'd like to make sure that there's no screw-ups this time and properly pressure test the system.

air compressor? bicycle pump? what pressure should i use? where to connect?

shouldn't think I'll need that much ummf.

I have a pressure test kit that fits onto the header tank and by a pump and guage it tests the system up to its maximum working presure, it also can be used to test the header tank cap to make sure that blows off at 15ftlbs.
