I know it's sad to watch BTTFs over and over again millions of times weekly, but I used to do that when I was still at secondary school when I had no internet or cars to "play" with....

By doing so, I have spotted so many flaws and shots that shows different object placements/ settings... which they aren't meant to be.

BTTF 2 is the one which I have spotted most flaws. When DOC and marty first landed at the future Hill Valley, the shots switch between the real and the fake D (for flying shots).... First, the fake D has poking out wheel nuts, silver centre badge, the doors don't shut, and I remember there are differences between the white tyre lettering too!

Then when they opened the door, passenger side's door mirror is bent to the closed position, but then the next second, it's back in normal position. Also, some shots shows the D have door straps, but some shows no door straps fitted...

Then for the shot when Doc has to chase behind Biff's car in 1955, the shot clearly shows the fake D's rollers. And the welded wheel too! But not sure if I am correct, you could also spot one of Marty's body harness' buckles that kept him "hoovering".

And in all three of the films, there are 2 different versions of the digital speedometer, one with 2 digits but third digit blanked out with black tape, one with 2 digits but first digit blanked out.

Anyway, I know this is a rubbish post, but just wanted to share the above pics which I have found in my hard drive when I was backing up the data. If I find more, I would probably add to the list if you guys don't mind? I am not putting down the films... they are clearly legend and I love all three of them! I am doing this just for a good laugh
and

i thought i was mad on it

seams not Big Grin
yep, there are a bunch of errors.

Some of the more recent I've noticed include:

in the second film just after doc knocks out Biff atop of the casino clock tower the delorean spins around and the badge on the front is missing.

also just after this you'll hear him saying 'ok, time circuits on', but they're already on....

also, as the delorean lands in the alley - check out the black cooling vents - they are a little too short compared to other shots of the delorean.

and also in the second film. one shot (i think where Doc is flying - just before he gets hit by lightening). he changes gear just check out the layout of the time circuit display. the date format is all wrong.

also around the same time check out the wiring that goes into the air conduit on the dash on the driver's side - that's not present in earlier shots in the movie.

I have a feeling it's just another model that they've made for internal camera work. and a poor job they did of it.

in the third film, as the delorean is being pushed along the tracks the front of the car is lifted up, but the speedo and mileometer still roll on (wouldn't happen as they're connected to the front drivers side wheel).

any hoo.

I'll go back to sleep. happy hunting.

Barzo.
It much be a early Real car, if the doors don't shut
I have a question about the third movie, when Marty goes back to 1885 in the Delorean with the fifties wheels on it, he breaks it and ends up getting a hole in the fuel tank. Why didn't the Doc use spares from the Delorean he had already buried in the cavern??? because in 1885 their must be two Deloreans there at once.
It would cause a Paradox.

If doc used parts from the 1885 D to fix the 1955 D then Marty would not of be able to drive the 1955 D back to 1885 to get the doc as parts would be missing and spares would not be available until the 1980's !!!

What about when the terrorists are chasing Marty at the beginning of BTTF I, just before he travels back in time, it keeps showing the speedo, and if you look at the milage on the clock there is terribly continuity: I don't remeber figures, but it appears to lose and gain miles on the clock at random :?

someone get the dvd out and get pausing....
At the end of BTTF2 when Doc is hovering & get hits by lighting, he seems to be going slower than 88 mph. so how can he be sent to 1885?
OK, here's one for ya - in BTTF2 how does Old Biff bring the Delorean back to the future so that Marty and Doc can take it back to the 50's? Surely he has given young biff the almanac by then and so the timeline would have changed...........

Surely we are spoiling the film for ourselves? Big Grin
well i think the main fault is , you cant travel through time Smile TT

bozzzydmc

... yes its only a film you know... Smile Smile

Lets pick on something else like 'Timecop'

Now there a film with all sorts of anomilies....

I've had a look and noticed a slight difference in camara angle also, this makes me believe that the clip at 29min 27sec was shot before the other two. (films are not shot in chronological order)

Very many thanks Aaron. 8)
I am guessing that my time machine doesn't work as my speedo only goes up to 85 Sad

Ah Time machines...... they don't make them like they're going to.
