In case you are wondering, the list is sorted by VIN, but not the way we would expect it to be - the check digit is sorted first.
This question might belong under a separate subject but it comes about as part of reading this thread.

It there any way of identifying on what ship/when a particular VIN sailed to the US? I'm interesting obviously in my VIN 16606, one of the later ones sold via Consolidated International Inc.

Any advice or info gratefully received.

Thanks.
Only if a shipping manifest is found. The above one is the only one I have seen, but presumably there are others.
spotted #981 in that lot, ex Paul Birks, now owned by TBRM (I think) and its the
one that overheated in London in 'for the love of cars' on tv.
Windshield failure on this shipment Sad

All early cars were black, So it begs the question, when were the first Greys shipped?
The first grey interiors are round about VIN 2960, built in late August 81, so an early September shipment would be expected.
fascinating stuff, I love reading things like this.
Nice find Domi...

Found the ebay listing and it looks like a failure on the transporter caused the damage...

Repair cost was $452 in parts and $384 labour... in 1982!
