Carfest 2015.

Ok Ladies & Gents here it is….
I have booked and confirmed a Delorean stand at Carfest South.

28th-30th August

Please post your “interest” in attending Carfest South in this thread (including which days and camping requirements)

IGNORE that it's for info only as I said and for punters not exhibitors. We get in for far, far less

Just to Clarify

We get in for approximately £25 per person per day based upon exhibiting a Delorean (price is for driver & passenger)
There are extra day passes (subject to availability when all car spaces are taken) for £50/day per adult.

Nothing wrong with charity, (20% is it? And Darren's £25 for two seems good value) but £500+ for a family to camp in a field for a weekend.
Nahhh jog-on, I'll go Turkey, all inclusive, 5 star for a week instead! :lol:

On the VW forums, people moan at £90 for a family at biggest and best VW meets in Europe. They'd have a heart-attack at £500. :lol:

It’s that time of year when I need to collect the Carfest payments.

All weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) for a Delorean & 2 persons is £156.00

Camping is £25 per night.

extra ticket info to follow.

You can arrive anytime from noon on Thursday & leave by noon Monday.

Space available for 2 Deloreans on Friday & Saturday only £65 a day for the car & 2 persons

It's going to be a BRILLIANT weekend

WHAT AN AMAZING CONCERT THAT'S GOING TO BE.

There are still two Delorean spaces available at Carfest South Friday & Saturday!

This is going to be a fantastic show so if you're um-ing and are-ing or thinking about it, please let me know asap.

I have just been told by someone on the inside that Chris Evans has only a few hours ago put his WHOLE collection of 13 classic cars into the Goodwood Revival Auction.

Carfest South will be the last opportunity to get up close and see the multi-million pound collection all together with Chris at the wheel!

Plus have a fantastic time with fellow car enthusiasts

A touch far for us unfortunately, otherwise we'd be in.

All participant car passes were mailed out on Saturday. These should be with those attending today or tomorrow.
As per the previous years the event organisers leave it to the very last minute to issue site plans. I got them this morning.
We have the prime spot in the Car Club enclosure right at the front opposite the paddock and next to the sporting bears (where people bid for a ride in a supercar)

Entrance for us is via gate B just up from gate A (just off bottom of drawing, where our super close club campsite is located)
Weather forecast looks much better at the weekend than of late. It’s going to be a great weekend.
Looking forwards to seeing you all there.
