As rear vision is so bad & my drive (rubble path) so tight. I've a cool idea for setting up a reversing camera but mounting the screen on the rear shelf below the rear window, you would have to turn to see it, which would be fine, but when camera not being used it could display a flux capacitor thingy.
I've no idea how actually to do it but would be very cool. Advise please from you electronic whizz kids! Big Grin
Something like this...... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/18-IR-Reversi ... 231b583470

Screen has two input, so one from camera & then you'd need something to input the flux image & then someway to switch between them.
Possible? Ideas?
Seems like a good idea, not sure how you could do it as I'm not the whizz kid your looking for! But if you get perhaps get a screen with a usb port and get a clip onto a usb stick maybe?
Chris
Normally these reversing cameras are activated by a switch on Reverse gear, so that part should be fairly easy.

I would think that you would have to have a series of images when not in use to reduce the risk of screen burn.
Ideally a moving image of the flux doing its thing, but yeah suppose it could flick to 'Plutonium depleted' or something.
But how do I do it? :?
