Seen in today's Daily Star, the BTTF DeLorean has been voted Britains favourite film and tv invention!
The Doc would be proud of his creation!
Well, if it's in the Star, it must be true
Until they drive one...

Well my Delorean is a pleasure to drive and has more than enough comfort & power for daily driving.
It does depend if it is maintained properly too...

You must be referring to just Time Machine replicas lol It must be all of that weight on the rear Mr Green
Yes, all that weight and stuff must limit the speed to under 90 mph!
Actually guys, you'd be shocked. I had it on a weigh bridge. Their weight is almost identical to a stock D! All props are light and in most cases hollow resin. The rear vents are lightweight, and bear in mind that you remove the rear windows and decks which weighs more than the props you replace them with. The only weight you add to the car is actually at the front, the tiny fog machine and deep cycle battery which you remove the spare wheel for anyway. The bits behind the seat are removed and replaced with thin material that looks like metal, but is plastic. They have come a long way since the older replicas, I can say with confidence that my time machine was superbly designed for every day use, and never had an effect on the drivability.

I had it to 88 many times, and into double figures (kph, naturally). That engine is superb and was fully rebuilt with a few upgrades, never had a blip! 8)
You'll have to bring it along to CarFest this year Luke, so we can all admire it! 8)
