It was important back in 1981!
The first recall was for the nut on the stabilizer bar.
I was on the night shift at the time when i heard it driving in one of the cars. It was on the News on the hour Every hour on the radio.
Then the others came after.

As far as im aware thats what the red spray paint is for on the underbody in the engine bay, correct me if im wrong

That would be right, to show that the work had being done. Most of the work was done at the Factory and the docks. If my memory serves me right.
