An Invitation to a Great Day Out - Classic Vehicle Show & Fete, Croydon, Cambridgeshire,
Sunday 23rd June 2013 - Noon to 4.30pm
Dear Car Club Member,
This e-mail is to invite you and your fellow club members to a great summer's day out in the beautiful village of Croydon in the South Cambridgeshire. We would love to see you and you would be made most welcome.
Please pass on this mail and attached poster to your club members as well as to your own contacts. We would be very grateful if you would arrange for a poster entry to be put in your club magazine and events diary. If you need more information for this purpose then do not hesitate to get back to me.
With around 95 vehicles last year our Vehicle Show is gaining a strong following so some of you will have been before but for those who don't know, Croydon is a small village set on a hillside in beautiful South Cambridgeshire countryside and we rely on visitors to make this event a success. All monies raised will go towards the running of our village hall and continued restoration of our beautiful mediaeval church of All Saints. You will be able to see the results of previous fundraising in our new church roof and striking ceiling. The show is held in a lovely setting opposite the church and with lots of food, stalls, drinks, plants, games and arena activities, including parades of vehicles and judging, so lots to do and see for the whole family.
Please see the attached first edition poster for more details. Note show cars plus drivers enter FREE and please also note show car arrivals from 10.30 a.m. and before noon, please. It would be helpful if you would please confirm attendance in advance which would greatly assist with planning, though no one will be turned away on the day.
