Hi All,

Thought I'd share some pics from the Southern Trio's catch-up at Brooklands Classic Breakfast last Sunday.

Mike Ward, John Dennys and myself have been catching up every couple of months or so at either Brooklands or the White Lion Classic Car breakfast which has been great fun (and as a fairly new D owner it's been really good to be able to link up with other owners nearby).

It rained all day at Brooklands last week, so was pretty quiet, but there were still a few cars there with the Deloreans getting all the attention (of course)!! I hadn't been to Brooklands before and it's a fascinating place with a lot of history...the motorcar, motorcycle, cycle, aircraft and bus museums were great to see...Concorde was there of course, as was the Sultan of Oman's private jet which was interesting to walk through (and great fun to sit in the cockpit of a pre-digital aircraft). Most importantly the cafe served a hearty breakfast too Big Grin

(Photos are mainly from Mike as my phone battery died pretty early in the morning)

great pics, thanks for sharing.

Been a long time since I last went to Brooklands, pics are on the DOC-UK's Facebook page,
got a good pic of about 6 or 7 De's on the banked circuit.
I would love to visit Brooklands one day. Maybe it ought to be on my 'to-do' list for this summer, considering I am resident in the south-east...
Welcome Steve Smile

Claire, I just scanned through the DOC's facebook page and found the pictures you mentioned, it was nearly 10 years ago - August 2003.

There is a marshall who works at Brooklands who seems to like us bringing the car's down, he's asked us a few occasions if we would be interested in having an owners meet at Brooklands. If there is interest, I can make some enquiries as to possible dates over the summer?

Also while scanning the photo's, I found a reg counterpart, KJD 254W - Is this car still around? Anyone know the VIN?

The next classic car breakfast morning at Brooklands is on the 19h May, it's very likely we will be there if you wanted to come down and say hello.

Keeping on topic, here are some pictures from one of our recent outings to the White Lion Antiques Centre.

KJD254W was Chris Williams' old car I think, if it is the same one, its now
residing on the Continent somewhere I believe.

Yep 100% correct, now residing in a private collection in Germany.
