I've been given a warning by a friend in a different car club, apparently this guy has been going round various club forums making a post along the lines of "the missus has spoken", offering to sell various parts. Payment is requested by PayPal and then of course the parts never show up.
Hopefully just having this warning here would put him off, but if anyone does try it on these forums, be careful.

Blimey, interesting reading!! Cheers for the heads up there Rob!
I'll make sure I let the Rapier Club and also the Vauxhall Clubs/forums I'm linked to know about this too.
Cheers again,
God! I read all 8 pages! Feel so sorry for everybody on that forum who sent that SCUMBAG their hard earned for parts that didnt exist! Hopefully the guy will get everything he deserves! :x
PayPal do take a very dim view of that sort of thing and generally side with the buyer if there's any doubt. It doesn't sound like people lost a lot of money but we don't want to encourage the guy.
Sorry Rob, you have to know VIN # 16327's nickname to understand the Blimey bit....... Didnt mean to spam up your thread.....
Keep up the good work...
Ben
