The VINs start at 500, so this would be the 6675 th car made.

More interestingly, it is almost the last 1981 model year car. '81s ended at 7199, and '82s started at 10001.

It's 'vin-sisters' 7174 is in Florida, and 7176 is in London

(Is your car an auto or 5-speed. I assume it has a grey interior?)

I just re-read my post, I forgot to say I would of course cover all costs for shipping etc and if there is anything I can get hold of from the UK that you would want, just ask! (Although other than Lotus things I don't have much available to me)

That's really interesting, the 25't last one of the "81 model.
And the sisters go over the globe, Florida-Iceland-London 8)

It's a 5 speed manual and with grey interior, like in the film 8)

Ztebbsterinn Wrote:Hi, I'm new here.

I have the privilege to have the only DeLorean in Iceland.

It got here in the year 1998 from a car collector in USA.

I bought it in 2005, I'm the 3rd owner from 1981.

It's driven right over 8.000 miles, and still has the original tiers.

Here are some pics, hope you enjoy, I know that I do Smile

Hi. I'm a new member here, so just reading through a lot of the old threads to get a flavour of what goes on here. I would love to see the photos from the first post in the thread here, but the links appear broken. Where can I see them?

(I have tried copy-and-pasting the links, but to no avail).
Hi there.

The house end the car was built in 1977.
I love that last pic of your car, absolutely stunning!
Some great photos there! Love the young child in the driver's seat. My parents have a photo of me as a toddler, standing on the driver's seat of my dad's Austin Allegro, holding the steering wheel.
Thanks.

This one is taken on an abandoned dangerous road with the steep mountain on one side and the ocean on the other, rocks are constantly falling on the road, now cars drive thru a tunnel.
It's taken on my friends cell phone.
