Good long feture on the 'One show' last night. Nice to see Brians BTTF car on as well. Some nice early footage of DMC as well as the cars as they are now. Has been really surprising how much intrest there has been in the last few weeks alone, in DeLorean's. Seen by the number of new members we have had and website/forum hits we are getting, just goes to show what a timeless classic this car really is 8)

I caught the end of that particular one show episode.
Just in time to see the female presenter scrape her high heeled shoes across the glove box trying to get into the passenger seat on Jason Manford's lap!
I could hardly watch!
yeah I cringed at that bit too Matt - it was on a par with when some so called
comedian (who's name escapes me right now) used the car on his 'chat show'
and put his foot on the bonnet. Shock
Oh Claire
You’re right. I had the same feeling again. I have changed though. It’s definitely a double edged sword. On one hand I’m protective of the Delorean and don’t want anyone taking advantage or damaging the car. On the other, I have to admit, I enjoy people liking the car and I do get a huge buzz from that, especially if it’s in the public eye................which means I have to let go to a degree. OK, I’ve probably got lucky, no damage this time round , but the pleasure I have had from my Delorean experience far outweighs the potential downsides. It’s like a rollercoaster, screaming with terror but loving it at the same time . Don’t want to get off.................AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhrr!!
lol, just remember to scream if you wanna go faster!!
You do get a bit 'protective' of your DMC especially when you return from shopping in Tescos and find lots of people standing around the car touching the stainless and leaving prints all over your front wings.....but hey, at least theyre getting up close and personal with a DMC-I dont think Ferrari, Lambo and Aston M owners would be so forgiving! 8)
very true there mate Smile And how many Ferrari owners can fit a weeks shopping,
a full size pushchair and associated baby essentials in their car (assuming
they take their car to the supermarket) lol

I had to laugh one day, I was in my De at Morrisons, just putting Kez back
in the car, and this family walked by with the husband visually drooling over
the De - his wife turned to him and just said "dont even think about it"
